A wander down the lane takes us to Sanctuary Way, a circular walk around Ripon. The way-markers have quotes, one of which states;

May your heart be always shining with light,
Light for the lost,
Light for our leaders,
Light for the whole world. 

So not only a beautiful walk with plenty to see but also food for thought along the way.
