Bare tops

Knocknacree Wood is beautiful at this time of year and I am walking there almost daily with Purdy, the black lab.  The Autumn colours that started at the tops of the beech woods have moved downward and are now mainly evident in the saplings at ground level, while the treetops at the southern side of the wood are quite bare.
