Captured hearts.
Off this weekend to the Cotswolds with Paul and our first weekend away together. I was able to finish work about 1.30 and Jayne was having Jack and Erin for a sleepover before they went to their Dads tomorrow so we headed off about 4 once Paul had finished.
We drove as far as Bristol and stopped for something to eat at Cribbs Causway. My first Nandos. It was yummy and I impressed Paul when I liked the hot sauce although not sure he was thrilled when I matched him bite for bite. Think he is used to being with one of those women who couldn't possibly finish the meal, gives him extra. Not me, I love my food especially chicken!!! Checked on the children beofre heading off and they were settled well at Aunty Jayne's. Jack is fine now but Erin has been left with the same cough as me and it is not fun. They were very happy though and so I was able to proceed with a little less guilt about leaving them for 2 nights instead of 1.
We arrived at our hotel early eve and settled in and then went to the bar for a few drinks. Paul had me laughing at his stories of his travels and the things he has got up to. I could listen to his stories for hours, although to be fair with the amount I talk he doesn't usually have chance to tell them.
These heart balloons were caught in the trees outside the hotel. Hearts captured just like mine.
