Red Roses....

These roses are growing around the edge of the RSA Memorial Olive Grove alongside the Taylor River. Maisie and I passed that area early this morning.
Daughter Margaret is visiting from Wellington. It’s lovely to have her here. She and Keith talked at length with family members in the UK this morning. Digital technology is magical. The weather here is fairly tame... chilly with low clouds. We feel very sorry for folk in Hawkes Bay badly affected by flooding and landslides due to torrential rain.
