Dismal weather, but a special place

I headed for Fradley Junction again.

Gloomy and overcast but it was so peaceful. No kingfisher fly past this morning, but the heron popped in briefly. 

An adorable wren on the boardwalk paused a while but I couldn’t disturb him for a photo.

The robin, however, was determined to steal the blip opportunity. 

It’s amazing how a gentle stroll can lift the spirits.
