Searching for Colour

Today, the fog got thicker. I drove Chaiyya to the vet for a vaccination this morning. Rani could not get one as well this time, because she's still on antibiotics. 

The veterinary practice is not far from us (only 10 minutes by car), but much closer to the Rhine. Down near the river, the fog was even worse, and driving in it was no fun. 

With the dark months ahead, I find myself looking for every little bit of colour that's left in nature. Like these last remaining leaves on our neighbour's Japanese cherry tree.
