Braiding

I need a length of braid for the Christmas decoration I am making. This interesting looking gadget is a braid maker and goes by the magnificent name of a Kumihimo Disk. It is very easy to make a simple braid with it, but with a bit of concentration and using many more threads, it is possible to create quite elaborate patterns. A soothing pastime. So soothing that I sometimes make them just for fun, and I have an interesting collection if ever I should need a braid.
