The Heat Is On

Tin of peppercorns bought some years ago in Apt, an old market town in Provence. Full of character and a reminder of long hot summers in the south of France.

My album of the day is "The Best Of Sam Cooke" by Sam Cooke. He might have died in 1964 but his memory lives on to this day. So many classic songs originated with Cooke, the amount of cover versions by other artists is staggering, it's like listening to Rod Stewart's back catalogue.
