RAF Little Walden...

There is not much left of the old wartime aerodrome that was RAF Little Walden. This is one of two brick bunds that protected the fuel. Once it must have been a very busy place but now it's tucked away and almost forgotten.

This little corner of the aerodrome is now protected as a Nature Reserve and is good for wild orchids in the Spring.

I've marked these on the map, have a look they're clearly visible in satellite view...
