Tilikum Crossing

"Tilikum" is a Chinook Wawa word used by the first peoples of this area. It means "people." 

"The first bridge of its kind in the U.S., Tilikum Crossing, Bridge of the People, carries MAX Orange Line trains, buses, streetcars, cyclists and pedestrians over the Willamette River in Portland, Ore." 
I crossed this lovely bridge on my bicycle ride today. Nice to be on a bridge that does not allow cars.
