Hazy Shade of Winter

Had another wander up to Calton Hill at lunch time. I couldn't believe how quiet it was up there, in terms of lack of noise. I sat on a bench for a bit, and usually there's a bit of wind, or the general drone of the city floats up, however today the air was calm and the only noises I heard were some birds chirping in the trees nearby. It was quite sunny too, with a wee bit of haze in the air. Not too warm either - just nice and crisp.
