Lookout

Cassie likes to sit on the chest of drawers in the bedroom and look out of the window at the world she knows. I have to open the window at the other side so she can turn around after she has walked across the narrow ledge outside.
I sometimes contemplate her world , a loving home where she has lived since she was a kitten , the garden with a big hedge , the cul-de-sac and a park behind the house. She never strays far , preferring to keep the company of her humans in her waking hours.
She often sleeps on a blanket beside me when I teach yoga online. A wonderful companion.
