Catching the light.

Two weeks ago today in the early morning I took Stephen into hospital for his operation.
These flowers were brought to me that same afternoon by a friend, along with some chocolates, as I was waiting to hear the outcome.
This was the usually socially distanced, step back from the door, visit. It was so welcome all the same!
So many hugs needed for so many people since the first Lockdown in March.
Especially those from families that we desperately miss.
These flowers have been amazing! Two weeks old today!
(They have been treated royally along the way!)
Time to take his nibs his breakfast tray, on a blue sky, sunny morning.
I’ll be doing the laundry as it’s a day to be able to hang it outside for once.
