Alastair finally got his British citizenship, went to his ceremony this afternoon which was a little bit scary and official but all the people there were so friendly! This is Alastair receiving his certificate, probably weren't meant to be taking photos but everyone else was so figured one more wouldn't hurt! We got free cake too, so definitely worth the trip! Here's to no longer paying for Visas every time we want to go abroad, and here's to Alastair being able to get into the country without being interrogated ;) To celebrate him finally getting his dual citizenship, Alastair's sister very kindly treated us to dinner out, which was very tasty, it was also lovely to catch up with Jen and Liza.
