day 241 kennedy Memorial

As it was a nice morning after the wind and rain of last night we donned our boots and went to Runnymede for a walk. we have never been to the Kennedy Memorial so decided a walk up the hill would do us all good. After the assassination of president Kennedy the uk gave an acre of land to the Americans and erected a memorial. I guess its like 9/11 in that everyone probably remembers what they were doing when the news came through of the assassination

After lunch I will do some sewing and wrapping of christmas presents.
Our Grandson Gage saw the doctor this morning who showed him how to administer an injection to prevent blood clots ahead of an operation on his knee tomorrow. Apparently the knee and leg is very swollen and extremely painful.
