Little Grebe #94
An unexpectedly sunny morning, so we popped back to Spike Island since it is only a few minutes drive away. We took a longer walk today along the canal up towards the future flower sculpture. With so little wind and some nice sunshine it was a lovely walk. There were lots of coots and moorhens about and a few pairs of little grebes who were being quite elusive, hiding amongst the reeds and diving often, but eventually I got a shot I quite liked, even if it is a bum shot and a stick is in the way.
This afternoon I have started the first jigsaw of the year - a beautiful kingfisher. I don’t think it’s going to take so long despite it being 1000 pieces......
