the vet

We had a bit of a medical scare with Elsa yesterday evening.  
After a dreadfully sleepless night for us all,  the vet examined her today and discovered that she has a problem with her back leg kneecaps.  Unfortunately it looks like she will need surgery on both legs.   We are waiting to get xrays organised and then decisions will be made.

We've had a bit of a run of bad news this week what with one thing and another, but trying to stay upbeat.  I think we might feel a bit better about stuff if we can get a decent night sleep.
