Christmas pudding

A first today. I made our Christmas pudding, probably about time and who knows how it will turn out... its the family recipe handed down for I think 3 generations. 

Pretty quiet day. The eldest fell over at school and came home with two huge plasters on his knees and refused to say what happened. He did say that he didn't cry.

I had a lovely walk in the sunshine this morning, and then saw two former colleagues which was very nice. 

Husband has spent the evening working, again... 

Today I'm grateful for:
The eldest getting all his spellings right, fingers crossed for the test tomorrow 
A lie-in until 7am, which was so nice!
Testing a new recipe for dinner - scrummy persian dish.
