Cooee

Nice sunny day so I went for a long bike ride. On my own, making up for yesterday’s lapse. It was 60 sunny miles, a bit of wind but not too troublesome. Chance encounters as I stopped to chat with a cycling friend early on, and then a little later a walking friend. Plus a long conversation with the Network Rail guys while I waited for the manual gated crossing on the East Coast main line to be opened. The pic is a quirky dovecote in one of the villages I went through, I’d seen the koala on a ride back in May as I whizzed by so this time I stopped to say hello.
