Gnocchi has become a firm favourite with me and The Eldest. It is our go-to grub on our semi-regular movie nights and both feeling in the need of something silly, we settled down with our gnocchi/chorizo bakes in hand to watch Zoolander tonight.

I’d forgotten just HOW silly Zoolander is and the roll call of cameos is absolutely jaw dropping, peaking with the appearance of David Bowie judging a ‘walk-off’ competition.

Early on in the film, the stubborn laminated orange man baby currently clinging on to power across the water cameos too. Bleurgh. His continuing display of petulance and false accusations showing him for the despotic, vain and delusional super-chump that he is. 

Does he not know that in order to successfully attack or undermine the credibility of something, you are required to be in possession of some credibility yourself?

Whilst on the absence of credibility, shame about Dominic Cummings departing before Christmas though. Don’t be surprised to find him popping up as the voice of your satnav and/or signing a mega bucks deal with Specsavers sometime soon.

On the plus side, Friday, 13th in the year 2020 will soon be in full swing, so that should be fun!
