Walks in the Autumnal dampness

The countryside around here has a very similar feel to that of East Anglia in the UK. Deciduous woods, flat, and a little autumnal mud as we walk.
Later in the day we took a trip to Kalmar on the mainland, visiting the university there and also meeting an old colleague, Dave R, and his daughter L.
Today's picture is taken on a walk from Shellng's house. We went past a large artificial lake which both helps drainage of the flat land in winter, and acts as a resevoir in case of a dry summer.
