Neat and tidy ruins

This is one front edge of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. I've blipped it before but what struck me coming home today is how tidy (most) of our ruins are.

That's where ruins still remain and haven't been cleared to reveal a big empty space, or temporary container of sorts , or a big sign showing a future glossy commercial space, or even the start of building.

It's all become part of what is now normal. It's stark but rather beautiful. More like a Greek tragedy which I suppose it is. Wish I could get up close....
