Bow Wave

I knew that this underpass was flooded and that most cyclists are avoiding it but I thought I would try my luck with the camera. I hung around for a few minutes and almost gave up but then saw, by coincidence, a cycling pal coming from the other side. I shouted through imploring him to ride through which he reluctantly did. Trouble was , he rode so cautiously that it was less than spectacular.

Whilst we were chatting I saw another cyclist approaching fast. This was more like it and the wave was much better. After sharing a flask of coffee we went in our opposite directions and I carried on my way enjoying the sunny afternoon.
