Sunset over the Irrawady

The Irrawady is the biggest and most important river in Burma, here in Bagan it is at least a kilometre wide and slow moving at this time of year towards the end of the dry season.
There is a flourishing business of small river ferries taking people and their possesions accross, you can see some of these boats in the foreground of the blip.
