Speeling

I know, I’m obsessive, but how can it be a good thing to make this sort of speeling mistake? It’s similar to the refusal to include the 'ugh' in doughnut . . . ;-)

We drove to Devon today. It was acceptable activity in lockdown, according to the rules, but we couldn’t stay overnight so we had to drive back again, over eight hours' driving. But it was successful inasmuch as we found a house for which we’d like to make an offer, near Sherborne. 

But what chance of that offer being accepted . . . ?
