Untangling wool (well...yarn)

Today has been quite an ok day. I think it's a nicer day as no work for 3 days. The kids were excited to wear PJ's & onesies for school. Pudsey PJ's for J and minion onesie for O. Youngest had a social distanced party to meet their buddies in year 6. Eldest got a special book from his teacher to help encourage his writing. He really likes his teacher and was sad when it was half term, as he wouldn't see his teacher, which is total contrast to last year when he didn't want to go to school at all.
My husband is working late tonight (expected home around 10pm), so I have been tidying, doing laundry and untangling wool.
Strangely, the untangling of wool is therapeutic. I actually thought it would be frustrating, but I'm glad it's not.
I'm hoping to get back in to my crochet and start making some lovely Christmas gifts for my family, as money is going to be very tight this year with the impending car bill and my being poorly since May and unable to work for several months.
But Christmas isn't about the money, it's about the smiles and happiness of the our loved ones. That's what I will be focusing on this year. That's what everyone should be focusing on.
