Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad # 493

Taking a walk today on a beautiful blue sky day on our river path, and along comes the DSNNRR #493, the newest oil conversion from coal to prevent forest fires.  It was working hard as it was pulling many many empty passenger cars all wrapped up for winter. Going up to the north siding I would guess.

Great sounds - hissing and snorting and rocking along like a beast.  Nothing like it.
