Well folks it's another longdayattheofficepreventingmegettingoutandtakingablip kind of day - again.
And anyway it has been raining most of the day, and I'm here in the dry. So the obvious thing to do is to take a blip of my desk.
I work for a traditional smokestack company in the back office, helping to make the wheels of commerce turn smoothly, and so you may notice a few essential tools of my profession - such as my calculator, which allows me to divide the number of views by the number of entries and get the number of views per entry down to three decimal places.
Very useful, that.
Obviously there is the laptop with which I can keep a beady eye on the happenings of blipland, and make comments from time to time - oh and the mobile phone so that I can talk to Flick about some of the more important issues on blipworld - and, of course, the landline which acts as a backup in case the mobile phone packs up.
Hiding behind the telephone is an ancient stapler. Although it is old, it can, if used properly, project staples some considerable distance across the room. This is fired at my colleagues fairly frequently in order to attract their attention to a particularly good photograph that may have just come up on the live blipfeed.
You may be wondering whether I get any real work done at all.
Well of course I do, and to aid me in this, I have three essential tools.
The doughnuts......oh, and the coffee of course.
oops..only two doughnuts left now....
