Ready, Steady.....Jump!

Yesterday the woodpecker arrived at the nut feeder but by the time a got the camera and changed the lens he had gone. Typical!
This morning I was poised and ready, no show.
So here is a Starling, ready to use the icy water which I had thawed earlier.
It really is amazing the variety of birds that arrive when there is a supply of food and water.
