Nice face, shame about the...

Let me start by saying that MrsDB and I know nothing about gin.  These brands were bought because of the labels or were Christmas gifts.  I do wonder if modern gins are a concoction of juniper and chemical and a good design studio.

All I can say in support the raspberry gin is that as an experiment I had a large 50ml glass of 20% gin with 175ml of some brand of 10% Prosecco.  I recall Coronation Street was unpalatable (aka sensational - if you've been affected by this...) and the rest of the evening was a bit of a blur.  At one point I think I went deaf.  Maybe I did.  Four Fererro Rocher chocolates to go with my double 40% Glenlivet and I was sailing. This morning I was sinking.

Tonight, as I type this, my bottle of Heineken 0.0% alcofree lager is wonderful. Thought I'd better ease off as I'm cooking dinner.
