Day 5

Today was forecast to be heavy rain all day and it certainly lived up your most of the day.
We decided (had planned last night) to go out for brunch. We found the perfect little dog friendly cafe that served breakfast all day and had a table right in their big window - perfect for people watching! :)
Cathie had Yorkshire Pudding Breakfast and I had Breakfast Burrito with fries. Mmmm! Very VERY filling. Really didn’t need or want anything to eat for the rest of the day!
Cathie was heading out to meet a friend in the afternoon. I thought I’d have a quiet afternoon reading but was lured out when I discovered it was dry. So Toby, Jodie and I had a wander round the piers and back along the promenade.
This evening I really wanted to go for a walk along the beach. Low tide was at 9:30pm so we headed out about 9 in the pitch black. There was just enough light from the streets and moon to see roughly where we were walking on the beach and whether or not we were walking into a pool! Jodie had her light collar on and Toby wore his high vis jacket that helped
It was LOVELY and made me so happy! :)
