Two Way Glass

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I now work at a desk in the bay window in the living room.

Aside from noticing things that I have never noticed before - there’s a guy who walks with a pram round the block for at least a couple of hours every day. Just round and round and round. How does he not get bored? I also have a neighbour who comes out AS SOON* as the bin lorry has passed and puts everyone’s bins on their garden paths (presumably to clear the pavement). I always though the binmen did it!

But, if I can see out, people can see in. (I know, it’s amazing how windows work). This realisation hit home today when some people passed and spotted me chair dancing!

*He must sit behind his front door waiting for the lorry. Honestly he’s out within seconds. I know lockdown has been a bit dull but bin lorry watching... I actually ducked behind my monitor so he wouldn’t see me as I felt slightly embarrassed that I was sitting in the house and he was bringing in my bin!
