...big things grow.
Discovered this acorn in a very old and overgrown garden in our street. Next door to Molly's house (she of dog sitting duties) there is a no entry sign but as Molly's 'mum' knows the owners and keeps an eye on the little blue house, we can apparently wander through too!

Most unexpected to see an oak tree amongst all the eucalypts.
The 'big house' in the bush across the road from our street was settled by folks from 'the old country', and huge oak trees grow there today. Perhaps an acorn made its way up the road and is now growing tall and strong.
