The Trafalgar Square bird of prey
She's a Harris Hawk and her job is to Police Trafalgar Square's pigeons (or to be more accurate, scare them off).
I'm on my way down to the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall to photograph the guy who arranges video conferencing in war zones, not realising that the Square has it's own little sniper. The hawks have a habit of picking off small dogs. A Dachshund puppy being the last victim I am informed. You can't blame the bird, in the wild they catch and eat Prairie Dogs.
