Today is the main day of Diwali, when it's traditional to light candles around the house. I'm happy for any excuse to light candles. Also this is particularly apt just now:

One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance".
