Vale of the White Horse

Today was dry!  And with a forecast for a thoroughly wet weekend we took the opportunity for another of our regular walks in Ardington and Lockinge.  However, to mix things up we met with a couple of friends; split up into two separate pairs and walked two different directions.  

On this occasion I didn't take my camera, and it was nice to view things alongside a fresh pair of eyes; and to point out viewpoints and ideas to someone else.

However this lovely horse in the Henrietta Knight stables in Lockinge was so friendly and patient that I had to take a picture on my phone.
