In the right place at the right time!

I bumped into friends on the beach this afternoon with their lovely old dog. I asked how he was and they told me he wasn't too good and they expected sadly, that this may well be his last trip to the beach. They asked what pictures I'd taken today and at that point I hadn't taken any and asked if I could photograph them - I'm not keen on having my photo taken so assume everyone else is the same - but they were delighted and gathered all the family together. I really enjoyed taking them and they were so grateful to have a record of them all together today.
I saw the Kestrel again today and managed to capture the top of its wings so I've popped it in as an extra.
