Autumn leaf

The autumn colours have been beautiful these last few weeks, and I'm confined to Dublin! So here is a back-lit leaf in a pear tree from my back garden. The amount of fruit the trees produced this year was phenomenal,
much more than usual as the tress are getting old --- not unlike myself.  But you're only as old as you feel and I'm not sure what the pear trees are feeling?
