Last Leaves

At least on the silver birches on the Chase.  Even 5 days has made an incredible difference the leaves on the trees.  Most birches are now leafless, similarly with the beech trees.  The oak trees are also beginning to shed their leaves and the larch have a carpet of yellow needles beneath their branches.

We were lucky to get a window in the weather, between the showers, or rather they were missing us because as we looked west you could see showers crossing the Shropshire hills.
