Surprised
I went out for a little trip today (for exercise and fresh air) to Wisborough green. The river Arun was flooded well over it's flood plain at Newbridge (see extra 1) and providing interest for numerous geese and a family of swans. I continued to Wisborough green where the church gate still fascinates me with it's collection of moss and lichen (see extra 2).
But this field I spotted on the way home interested me the most, and just had to be my blip!
On a grey, wet and windy mid November day the very last thing I expected to see was a field of Oil seed rape in bloom, but not only in bloom with the yellow of rape flowers, but purple in places too with other flowering weeds - it actually felt like spring!! a miracle for me without a doubt!
