Date Sunday

As I said. Everyday feels like date day with husband (ok we're not perfect we do also have some right humdingers but I guess that's all part of the fun).

Today we went to look at potential new car to buy - garage was closed. So went to look at a Plan Chest at a garden ornamental garden type place - also closed.

Sooooo we had a lovely stroll around Hungerford antique stores. We bought me a tin of the queen and prince Philip (said in high pitched clipped voice) i am going to put my gardening seeds in it. I can't wait to get out into the garden - I've not been too bad on the gardening withdrawal front due to bad back and bad weather. But weather now changing - sunny and a hint of warmth and my back is getting stronger sadly though all week I will be typing spreadsheets again. Humph. I am very happy with my tin though - it says celebration of the coronation June 2nd 1953. I have no idea if it is genuinely that old but I love it anyway.

We popped in to see our buddy Simon in his antique shop. He had just been on holiday to Kent with wife and Bambinos. He told us of a village they went to visit as it had something of interest for the kiddies. I'm afraid I lost it I have no idea why but I turned into a child and snorted hysterically at anything he had to say after that but I would love to see one day how pretty Lyminge is.

Husband bought me some fruity tea pigs as we were on a date. I'm not really into flavoured tea but i am trying to reduce my milk consumption and have temporarily gone off normal tea and coffee. I have tried many types of herbal teas THESE however I've discovered are awesome and I highly recommend. I am now addicted although a bit hefty on the purse.

When we came home husband cooked up a bacon sandwich storm. My waist band has been tightening over the past week. I think this is the final nail in the coffin on tipping the scales.

I've had a beautiful day with my best buddy.
