Christmas Cake

The fruit had been soaking in brandy since yesterday and I made the cake this afternoon.
It came out of the oven 5 hours later at just gone 10pm.
Kitchen smells yum.

On a walk earlier this evening, hubby and I saw a Christmas tree up in someone’s house.
I suggested we do the same.
He said no.
Funny that....
