Sheep in Mist

When we set off on our walk this morning the mist was hanging low over the hills (see main photo.) When we returned home about an hour later the sheep were just visible but you could not see over the wall of their field. The sheep are in the field during the winter months having been brought down from the hills by a neighbouring farmer during the winter. They are more restful feeling than the cows with some now having been taken in for the winter months. The fields are very wet with water lying on some and not likely to drain away anytime soon if this weather continues.
A dreary wet morning, just the weather for playing jazz. Household chores for the afternoon before making pizza for our evening meal, which we have not had for sometime.
