Payung

Payung is the Indonesian word for a parasol and umbrella and this is a traditional Indonesian waxed cloth one with handpainted decorations on it (see the extra for a colour version). Umbrellas are the subject for the Dutch photo course. The weather today is too windy for umbrellas and too wet for my camera, so I can't do a landscape for Mono Monday but I can do a hint of opening the umbrella ;-) With thanks to pinkhairedlady for hosting MonoMonday this week.
