St James the Great
otherwise known as Radley Church.
Having visited the churchyard yesterday I thought today I'd give you a view of the beautiful old church built in 1290. The tilting tombstone in the middle-foreground is a 'listed building' known as the Cavaliers' Tomb and dates to 1643. You can read more about it in my blip of March last year.
My trusty bike is on the right! I'm selling a lot of stuff on eBay at the moment so could well be cycling back to Radley post office yet again - later in the week. Behind my bike you can see some of the topiary features of the churchyard. To be honest I find the shapes of the topiaries rather bizarre and not particularly attractive but each to his own!
