Tree Graffiti - how have people changed this place

I had a walk through the wood over lunch time and then round through the fields and back to my car.  I’ve been fascinated for a while by the graffiti on the trees and as the light was very flat today I thought I might make a collection of these images.  I’ve done it before, but different day,s different light, lead to different images, so I might yet end up with a series that works together.

I had a very productive start to my morning, not only did I do one load of washing but I also got in touch with quite a few people on my list, collected my tablets from the doctors (which feels real again now you can go inside and see people) and called to see John and Ella.  John is going to sign every sheet of Ann’s will so that I can access her Premium Bonds.  I have no recollection of the NS & I asking for this to happen. He hasn’t met it before and nor has someone he knows who does lots of wills and probate!  Everything that could go wrong seems to have done round this particular aspect of sorting out Ann’s estate.  They waited until I sent it off the first time with the front copy signed before sending it back and then sending a letter to say every sheet needed signing using a particular set of words!  (I suspect this is a bit of a ramble - I’ll re-edit in the morning.)
