Worn out wellies

It's been wet, and therefore it's been very muddy.  Reluctantly at the weekend I realised that I would have to finally give in to wearing wellies for every dog walk.

However, to my surprise I could hardly stand up in them and was slipping and sliding all over the place.  For some reason I didn't think wellies would wear out - it shows how much use they've had in the last 5 years.

Apologies for the lack of cleaning, but they tend to get like this at the beginning of winter and stay like that until retired in the spring.
