Started the day with a call to John’s sister in NZ to wish her a Happy Birthday.

Some retail therapy in Falkirk ( since we are not allowed into Stirling district.) We got new outdoor lights for our tree in the front garden. When we read the small print it said the lights had to be protected from rain and wind!! Hardly suitable for our climate. We will be returning them.

Collected Euan and Eve from school this afternoon. Love hearing their news as we walk home. Amazed at the number of parents parked at the school with their car engines running though.

Have started watching The Crown. So far I feel it is a bit far fetched but will watch another few episodes tonight.
