Today's the day ……………………….. to add to the collection

You'd think with an inhouse Artist-in-Residence that we would already have enough works of art to fill our house?  And you'd be right.  The thing is though, we love lots of different kinds of artwork - and we just can't resist adding to the collection when we see something we both like.

This is a recently acquired print from an original illustration by Martha Schofield for the National Trust for Scotland.  There are four of them in the set, depicting different local NTS properties, namely Threave, Broughton House  and the Rockcliffe Coast.

This one depicts Threave Nature Reserve - and all the wonderful wildlife that you can find there …………………….
