Great Blue in the Orange

Another trip to Huntley Meadows this morning yielded very few photos.  Except for this Great Blue Heron, it was extremely quiet so I left and headed over to Dyke Marsh, along the Potomac, which was just as quiet.  Nevertheless, it was a glorious morning, and I walked over 4 miles so it definitely was not in vain.  This is much better in large. 

I have been a total blip slacker this past week and have only today posted a couple of uninspired back blips.  There has been a big let down (much of it relief) since the election, but there is still a lot of nagging worry about the transition period and how it will compromise the future.  I really fear that Trump will burn the whole house down before he leaves.  What a deranged, flawed human being he is.
